F57 nav head unit keeps rebooting

Went for a drive today in my 2019 F57 and the head unit (8.8” touchscreen nav) kept rebooting. Probably rebooted 10 times or so. Finally, it shut off for what seemed like an extended period of time and when it restarted it had lost all my settings (e.g., driver profile, favorites, interior lighting settings, paired Bluetooth devices, tone settings, etc.). Anyone experience this before?? It’s occasionally rebooted in the past, but never almost constantly like this and definitely not to the point that it completely resets itself.

Sounds like a trip to the dealer is necessary. If your car is of higher age, I would recommend you check for software update at the mini connected website, but a 2019, good lord please don't tell us it has reliability issue already.

This may not be related, but I was reading over in some non-MINI forums, that there was a problem earlier in the week, with the satellite data being transmitted by Sirius, and it was causing a lot of radios to constantly re-boot.

Well that's interesting! Dropping the car at the dealer this week. Let's hope they can replicate the issue so they don't just hand the car back to me and tell me they couldn't find the issue.
