Today the passenger side inside door handle stopped opening the door. Outside handle works fine. Gonna try to take off the interior door panels to take a look soon but I'm currently on a drive with my local club so it'll have to wait. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing the issue?
Got it fixed. Only had to remove 4 screws to get the panel off. Somehow the clip in green became disconnected from the lever in red after opening the door. It wasn't even broken. It just slipped off so I slipped it back on and the inside door handle works again.
That would have been $600 fix at MINI dealer.
It came disconnected again tonight. Gonna have to take a closer look tomorrow to see why this keeps happening. Maybe pop off the driver's side door panel to compare.
