Driver side mirror glass vibration/shake

2019 Cooper, driver side mirror glass vibrates when driving, music (bass), road bumps make it obviously worse. Passenger side is rock solid.

When to dealer with issue, they confirmed it was a problem, all was tight in the mirror itself. Had to order parts. New parts in and the mirror still does it. Report from dealer is, "Works as designed". The interesting part is I had a 2018 Clubman and another 2019 Cooper as my loaners and both had the same exact issue. In my research I have found (https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...e-noticed.html) and other random posts and seems it's a design issue. It's really annoying, anyone else she this, fix it or have any input?

You can obviously see there is some design problem, sit in the diver side and hit the door by the mirror with your fist and the glass will vibrate, the same action on the passenger side does nothing.

Three MINIs, never noticed this. Will be curious to see how many other people chime in saying it is an issue. Your link is obviously prior generations and very old postings.

"Works as designed" - LOL this was very funny indeed. Next excuse will be to send you to the ophthalmologist.

Can say my 2019 MCS hardtop does exactly that. I have the JCW pro exhaust and at certain RPMs, it is quite noticeable. Just took delivery on 9/10 BTW.

My 2017 does this at highway speed or over rough pavement.

My '19 F57 does the same thing. It doesn't vibrate so much it's a problem, so I haven't even brought it up to the dealer. I've had several cars, from different manufacturers, and I think they all did this on either the driver's side or passenger's side!
