Creaky Clutch?

Clutch pedal assembly parts arrived. Dealer warranty install scheduled for three days from now.

Install in process. According to the tech, it’s now a longer install (5 hours) due to new MINI corporate service regulations, so I left the car for the weekend and drove home in a 2019 Clubman loaner with kick-to-open hatch bay doors.

Clutch pedal install complete. Drove it about 30 miles. The creak is gone and the pedal throw is nice and tight, with smooth engagement into all gears. I honestly prefer it to the 2019 Clubman S loaner pedal. Issue resolved.

Did your Mini factory warranty cover this lever repair? Mine has a light creaking sound when you press the pedal in. Annoying but just had the service writer tell me I’d have to pay them to pull transmission to check the throw out bearing. Hmmmm.

Any thoughts appreciated.

They diagnosed that it was the clutch pedal assembly. Parts and full repair were covered under factory warranty. Clutch is still completely silent, so they got it right.
