Came out to my car and it appears a "ghost in the machine" reset all of my radio presets, mirrors, and other personalized settings. On a good note - my car appeared to be a bit more enthusiastic. Anyone else experience this issue? Car currently has 5200 miles.

 

Are you sure it was your car?

 

Did you switch car keys? I think I remember stuff like that being stored on the key. That way each driver of the car would have their own presets loaded when they started the car with their key.

 

I think you hit the nail on the head. All of my Lexus's were set that way, my Subaru Outback is that way and I just assume my '16 JCW is also .

 

2nd the key comment. I just installed my new fob covers this weekend and grabbed the "wrong" key this morning. It was like I had someone else's car. Switched keys and things were back to normal.
