F54 Esys coding
Esys coding
Hi everyone, I’m new here and new to BMW/MINI coding with E-Sys.
I have a 2022 MINI F54 LCI. So far I’ve only coded the Start/Stop memory function.
My current setup is:
Quick question: could a “mismatch” between the E-Sys version and the PSdZData version/date cause any compatibility issues (CAF D errors, missing data, wrong coding options, etc.), or is this combination generally fine for F54 LCI?
Also, does anyone have an up-to-date link/resource listing the available FDL codings for a MINI F54 LCI (ID6)? Most guides I find are older and focus on ID4/ID5 rather than ID6 on MINI.
Thanks in advance!

you didn't mention which Esys Launcher are you using ?
but to answer your first question, yes you are using a wrong combination of Esys and PSDZ. for this PSDZ version I recommend you to use newer Esys version like the 22.06 for example .

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I’m using E-Sys Launcher PRO v2.8.1.155 (by TokenMaster).
I understand the version mismatch you mentioned and I’ll look into updating E-Sys to a newer release (e.g. 22.06) to better match PSdZData 4.57.12.
That said, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find newer versions, as there are many sources online that seem questionable or are clearly just trying to sell access.
Can you help me for the second question?
Thanks again for the clarification, much appreciated.

you can use this launcher , but you need older PSDZData like v4.50 or similar .
for coding only i would use Bimmercode app if you use android device
I shared it on many other forums , I think I am allowed to share it here ( hopefully )
BimmerCode V4.25.4-12743 moded ( Only Android )

Thanks a lot for the info, really appreciated.
I’ve seen on BimmerCode’s website that ENET cable is also supported, which is the one I already have. I’d just need to get a USB-C to RJ45 adapter to use it with my device.
In any case, thanks again for sharing the link and for the suggestion very helpful.

If you have an old WIFI router laying down in your store room , you can power it with 12v directly from the car and connect your enet cable directly to the router lan socket and the phone with the router's WIFI .
That’s actually a brilliant idea, I honestly hadn’t thought about that at all.
Thank you very much for the tip, it’s a really clever and practical solution. I’ll definitely try it, since I already have an old router lying around.
Much appreciated!
