Just thought I’d throw this out here. Our 2017 Mini Cooper S Clubman didn’t have SiriusXM. It has the Navigation radio with touch screen. I used Bimmer-tech.com and purchased the program code for it. There was a Christmas discount going on so I purchased it along with a USB stick with the coding already loaded.
Worked like a charm.
After I ensured it was up and running, I called SiriusXM and was given the first 3 months of service at no charge. ( well, $2.00 for some reason )

 

When your 3 months is nearly over, call and cancel. They should offer you a deal to stay.
$10 month for all channels is the going rate for retention.
