F54 Removing Wireless Charging Apparatus ?
Removing Wireless Charging Apparatus ?
Our custom-ordered 2021 JCW Clubman arrived. We're enjoying it and getting to know it little by little. Not a lot of places we would drive to during Covid, so accumulating break-in miles is taking a while. And the settings' capabilities are enormous but we have some time to dig into them.
When we ordered the car, we would like to have done a 'wireless charging' delete but that was no longer a possibility. Since we won't ever use the charging pad, I would like to combine it's space with the space beneath it (containing the pad's functional bits) to use for other things. Question is: Has anyone safely removed those parts and, hopefully, knows how to go about it without damaging anything?
Thanks in advance.

Oddly you might take a look at instructions for installing the CravenSpeed short shifter.
There is a full teardown of the center console here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ml#post4306441 .
If you're interested to get rid of the charging pad I might know a guy who would buy it (me) ;-). I'm not sure what part numbers correspond to the console tray with or without the charging pad, could be fun to try and figure out.
