Hello my fellow mini drivers! I need some help figuring out why the exhaust flap is stuck shut on my car and what I can do to fix it. I know for sure it’s stuck because even in sport mode after a couple of revs it doesn’t open like it should. I used BimmerLink to see if there were any codes being thrown and I got one that says “exhaust flap actuator short circuit to ground”. Do I just have to replace a fuse or something? Or if not is there any way to manually open the valve and keep it that way? Please help! I miss the loud pops and bangs my car makes on overrun. Thank you!!
