hi everyone. I just scored a great deal on a set of silver oem 18inch jcw wheels, the ones that come as standard on a jcw clubman. Each one has some curb rash so I’ll need to get them refinished. I figure I’ll take the time to change the color while I’m at it. I’m leaning on having them done in melting silver. Any thoughts or suggestions on other colors?
Melting silver would look really nice. It is a warm grey so it complements the green better than a cool grey/silver. I have the same BRG but with a black roof. I was looking to recolour my winters to satin bronze but ended up with new wheels instead. Kinda like this. It would bring a new color into your pallet of green/melting silver/ satin bronze and black but it might be nice. Melting silver is a safe play that you won’t my tire of.

I did something similar on my zhp, although more on the gold side. Thought it played nice with the beige leather. Using the same logic, I thought melting silver would work nicely with the satellite grey leather.
Do you have the grip spoke JCW wheels or a set that is 2 toned and machined? Melting silver is almost a champagne so it would look nice with the theme. You should give your guy the paint code if you want it to match. It wouldn’t be worth machining it again

correct, grip spokes in silver. Never knew that’s what the name of these wheels were. Yea I think I’m going to go that route. Thanks
