I am in the process of buying a preowned 2016 Clubman (regular, not s). It has roof rails.
When I first went to the dealership they were under the impression they could do a black jack roof flag decal. They talked to me about their plan to remove the roof rails and install the flag.
I just got a phone call informing me that Mini no longer makes a roof decal for the Clubman (only for the hardtops). My only option is to have this done after market with a company that does wraps. Does anyone have any experience with a Clubman that has a roof decal that was dealer installed? Or have you done it after market?

No, it isn’t, it was supposed to overlay on the entire roof. There’s no sunroof on this car.

Mini has never sold a whole-roof decal for the F54, only the moonroof decal.

 

Thank you! It seems the dealership (actually both that i went to) were misinformed. I now need to look at aftermarket options!

 

I would be very very careful about removing the roof rails. IIRC the factory install includes drilling thru' the sheet metal and they're bolted from underneath. At the time of ordering we were told this is not something that can be added later without a lot of hassle such as removing the interior headliner. If you go with a wrap, see if they can cut and install around the roof rails.
