Bought a 2018 just about a month ago. Love the car, but curious about my front tow hook cover. It keeps coming loose. Seems to clip in fine, but is easily dislodged. ( It under warranty, of course.) Anyone have this issue?

Congrats on the new car! I got mine recently as well. But, no haven't noticed the issue st all. Yeah, you might wanna tell your dealership. It would suck, if it just pops off while you are driving.

 

im looking to buy one myself, bought a car and it was missing. 2 months later and mini of charlotte still has not sent me one.

 

My dealer gives free car wash with service. It is a regular car wash and habitually tore off the tow hook cover. I had to have my replaced at their cost....

 

Yeah mine popped off in the Delta Sonic but I noticed and had them go retrieve it. For a while I would habitually take it off each time I used the carwash, but now I just use a bit of black electrical tape to hold it in place. Not great looking but it does the trick.
And before the "whaaaa? no auto-car-wash!!" crowd jumps in here, we have a lot of snow and ice and salt, and there's no way I'm washing my car by hand when it's minus 20 outside!

 

The front tow hook cover on my 2017 also pops off easily. Seems to be a design flaw with the part, since it happens to quite a few people. And Virgilstar, I also run through the car wash, especially in winter, for the same reason as you (I live in Northern New England)!
