Greetings everyone,

i have the HK radio in my clubman and it seems like whatever source I choose (satellite, car play, etc) I have to turn the volume to at least the halfway point before I hear any sound? Anyone else run in to this?

Yeah, same here.
Seems Mini/HK uses a taper log algorithm, rather than linear.

 

Yep, mine is the same. Kind of annoying, mainly because it's so different from what I'm used to.

 

Same with the fan speed!!
