Winter Wheels/Tires on JCW

so I am considering pulling the trigger on a beautiful F54 JCW, but first I have a question. When time comes for me to put on winter wheels and tires, will I be able to get away with 17 inch wheels? Checking out tire rack they stock some 17inch wheels that fit a f56 JCW, but don't list anything for the clubman. I know that the offset is a bit different with the clubby, but I am hoping that if necessary some spacers will allow me to run the 17's.

I want to go with 17's for better traction and lower cost. Anyone tried this yet?

Given that the JCW brakes are available as a dealer-installed accessory on the other Clubman models, and appear to be available with wheels as small as 17"x7", I would think you won't have an issue.

Beware how you search:
I noticed I get results when I search:
MINI -- 2017 -- Clubman with runflat -- John Cooper Works
But I get no results if I search
MINI -- 2017 -- John Cooper Works with runflat -- Clubman

I miss my 2009, but I really love the 2017; despite what people are saying it rides smoother than the 2009. (17" rf on the 2009, 18" rf on the 2017) I haven't driven in the snow yet, but the all4 was one of the reasons I let go of the 2009, I needed the 4wd.
