Hi! Not sure if anyone can help at all. I am trying to establish if my vehicle has DRLs or not. The manual states when the lights are in position 0, they are either off (obviously lol) or the DRLs should be on, only no lights are visible the when car is on and running. Just trying to establish whether I have them and the function is not working, or if that was not an option from new as I bought it used. For some reason, the service departments at the dealers are unable to clarify. Many thanks in advance.

 

Should be DRL capable, they're just not turned on. I used Bimmercode to turn them off for me, but left on for the wife.

DRL should be in the onboard menu… Have you tried the owners manual?

Yeah, within the onboard menu, DRL is switched on. The manual also refers to DRL, so it appears not to be working.

 

i have some mini issues, it says the DME was not working… and I am trying to problem solve…
