MINI E conquering test drivers

Seems that the electric MINI version is making success with testing drivers in the UK!!!

I drove one here in California. They are just as much fun and they accelerate very quick. Handling feels a bit heavy but well controlled . This is not surprising since there is no backseat - only a battery pack.

The weird part is how the regenerative braking kicks in as soon as you let off the accelerator. It slows the car so fast you don't need brakes to slow for a turn. If you see one stopped you may notice the rotors are always rusted - because they brakes are almost never used.

Good article, although I found the statement that BMW will be marketing FWD vehicles to be the most interesting.

They are now starting the second phase of the UK trial. They final day of subscribing for the try out ended yesterday
