How do I access the wheel well marker lights?

How do I access the wheel well marker lights?

These are the ones in the reflectors along the edges of the fender flares. I have one burnt out and I would like to replace it myself. The manual doesn't address removing and replacing this bulb. Please help!!!

Thanks in advance.

The easiest way, is to remove the wheel, and then you will see plastic screws to remove the cover and replace the bulb. Be careful the heads on the plastic screws are very easy to strip depending on how tight they are.

Or you could just wait till you are at your dealer as this is a free repair item under warranty.

Hmmm... sounds like I have a little work ahead of me... lukily I've got time tomorrow to do it.

Any idea what bulb and wattage is used? I see from realoem.com that it's a small tube-style light. I should have a few of those as they're used inside for interior lights in the Volvo... but I'd like to be sure before tearing into it.
