Changing H11 fog light bulb

so i got some new H11 bulbs to match my HID's instead of the yellow, went on coopersport and it says:

"Easy installation is accomplished through removal of the inside front fender liners. DO NOT remove the front bumper cover as incorrectly recommended on some MINI forums as this will not provide access to the rear of the fog light enclosures."

anyone actually done this before?

any sorta help would be great! thx

I did mine. With my BIG hands it was not fun - probably just my technique...

I found instructions somewhere...

I simply removed the four plastic clips that hold the wheel well liner into place and squeezed my hand in between the liner and the light area and from the top opened the gap for the bulb and switched them out...

Yeah, there are those plastic pop rivet / screws that hold the inner fender liner on. Hold the outer part of the rivet while your unscrewing the screw. Be careful that you don't strip the threads. To get room to work, either remove the wheels or just crank them to lock (which way doesn't matter). You only have to remove the rivets in the front and then bend the fender linder back to get access to the bulb. The bulb will be right there. I'm not sure exactly how the bulb releases but it shouldn't be too hard to figure it out.
