Xenon Match fog light bulbs from Visionbulbs.com - Poor quality

I purchased a set of Xenon Match H11 fog lamp replacement bulbs from visionbulbs.com several weeks ago. The left side did not fit snug in the foglight housing. Attempts to get it to fit shorted out the 15 amp fog light fuse and almost cooked the fog lamp housing. After $125 and two hours of time I finally have the OE bulbs back in. IMO, the build quality of the vision bulb assembly is poor and is not interchangable with the OE ones. If you have purchased these bulbs please compare them to the OE ones before installing them. If the bulb does not fit with a simple push and turn, forget it!!!. I may have an extra set if anyone wants them. If no one wants them I will try paying someone to take them.

Yup - you're right. They're crap . Cheapo Chinese-made crap . The interior bulbs give off as much light as a burned-out flashlight. Half of the interior bulb order was wrong, anyway. When I got the H-11's, in s seperate package, and saw they're Chinese, I didn't even bother with 'em.

Vision Bulbs has a return form. I am sending everything back for a refund (at least I hope I get a refund).

In the future, I'll stick with Sylvania, PIAA or some noted quality bulb maker - and will gladly pay more.

I completely agree. I had the same problem with one on my H11s popping the 15a fuse. So I installed the working one, and returned the old. Next time I tried the "new" working blue H11, it too was dead. I should have just returned them for credit.

I will say that the silverstar extreme turn signals bulbs are very good, but the H11 "Xeno Match" are like **** on a bull, worthless.

It cost $125 for a 15 amp fuse?
I'm confused as to what damage could have been done by a bad bulb..... I'm not defending the bulb seller, just want to know what exactly to look for. I've got these bulbs too, the were a tight fit into the housing, but work ok for me.
Any more detail on what to look for would be appreciated.

Thanks
Donald

ditto... I completely melted the housing on the portion where the bulb goes in with my HIDs but that's only cause the bulb moved and pushed against the plastic. Even then it was only $50 to replace the housing and an extra half-hour of my time. The other side with the HID that didn't have the bulb touching, bulb did move just didn't touch, only slightly cracked the housing on the inside due to the heat. HIDs create A LOT more heat than the halogen bulbs.. so I'm really at a loss as to your experience. Try replacing your 15A fuse with a 20A fuse to fix that problem... Hopefully your issues are resolved and you get your money back..

Just wanted to say that the bulbs from Supreme Power Parts that I posted pics of before were good quality, come with a warranty and are a bargain - so it is possible to get good bulbs w/o paying a mint for PIAA, etc. I had his bulbs in the M Coupe and 3 series headlights for years with no problems and so far they have been fine in the Mini high beams, fogs and parking lights.
