Electrical aftermarket fog / driving lights in stock MCS bumper cutouts?
aftermarket fog / driving lights in stock MCS bumper cutouts?
Anybody done it? Several searches bring up other info...more about PIAA lights on the grille and rear fog. The stock foglights on the Cabrio we own don't do much, so I ordered my Coupe without. I have a set of Hella Micro DE I planned to install - the size is perfect for the cutout, but they are too long and won't work as planned.
Has anybody done this? I don't care for the PIAA grille mounted look, so I'd like to use the stock location....better anyway for real fog duty as it's lower to the ground and xenons + amber fogs =
Thanks for steering me in the right direction if this has been covered ad infinitum.

Whoa, they actually work very well as designed. Have your dealer aim them correctly, it might make the difference
I think there is one person who added Xenon fogs in that location but forget the name. MANY ppl, as I, have added them to the lower bumper area
