Center vent gauge install.

Has anyone installed the boost and oil pressure gauge set up that replaces the center vents? I have the gauges/fittings/ tubing, etc just not sure how to proceed with installation.(I didn't buy the kit) What holds the gauges(2 5/8'') in place? How do i get the vents out? What else do i need to remove for access? If i can get these installed properly, I plan on using the Craven set up on either side of tach for oil temp and water temp.Would appreciate any and all input on this.
Thanks,
Bill

Thanks! Sounds like a Sat. project. I was wondering about bulb color, I'll try the orange sharpie trick.

Thanks Again,

Bill

Thanks.

When you put a gauge in the air vent, you end up plugging up the air in that particular vent and so the rest of the vents push out more air.

It's the same as shutting off any one vent.

That is true, but my point should have been that there are really only 2 vents that are going to blow on the driver. And I wouldn't want to cut down on the amount of lukewarm A/C blowing on me.........LOL
