Driver's side auto-up stopped working

I just finished installing my Ipod adapter and an Aux input (I know, kind of redundant but I got the Aux for free and since I had the HU out I went for it).
Anyway, the Aux input and Ipod adapter are working flawlessly YAY for me! But when I went to put the windows up when I was finished the driver's side auto up isn't working. The passenger side is working fine, though. Since I disconnected the negative terminal to the battery (per BMW instructions with the Ipod adapter) would that have "confused" the auto up? Should I try to re-program it? I REALLY don't want to take the center stack apart again, I think I've had my fill of that for sure!
Oh, and I have Ian's Auto-up.

Start with a reprogram attempt. Weird that only one side (or either side) would 'forget', but always do the simple things first!!

Yeah, I think I'll do that. I started to do a re-program but stopped myself before I really messed it up more, like get it to the point where the windows won't do anything, but have now decided that I probably won't make it any worse. I'll go do it right now.

Yah, when you disconnected the battery you probaly reset part of the circuit. Mine needs to be reprgrammed everytime I pop the battery cable.

Which auto-up do you have? Ian Cull's doesn't need to be reset even after being removed from 1 car and installed in another (voice of experience).
The most likely culprit is that you were moving wires around and partially pulled out one of the connections on the circuit. Make sure the connections are seated fully and I'll bet you'll fix the problem.

Ok, reprogramming did the trick. What I think happened was that in my gyrations to get everything done I think I either loosened a connection or inadvertantly un-programmed it. I had to do some major contorting to get holes drilled, cables threaded and re-install glovebox so who knows what I did!

Thanks Ian for checking in. I knew it was something I did, but was just making sure I didn't really mess it up!!
All is well, and just going without it for an hour made me really panic! Just the thought of having to HOLD the button to get the window to go up just ruined my entire day
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I just LOVE the MINI community!!
