Broke an oem driving light need advice.

I was trying to loosen the nut that holds the light to the bracket and snapped it in half.

Does anyone know what a replacement light would go for? Is it huge dollars?

Or if I would be better off going with some other light would the OEM wiring thats in place be workable?

I'm so ripped, I was just trying to loosen it to put a L bracket on the light to temporary mount my license plate to get my inspection sticker.(get the sticker and off comes the bracket)

Why a new light when its just the bracket?

Find the part you need here and get the part?

The part is the threaded hollow bolt that comes out of the light. Its the whole light part #2.

OK then you have MANY choices ... if the bracket are still OK and the wiring. You can go hella http://www.hellausa.com or PIAA http://www.piaa.com. Many ppl have done that. Size is up to you but stock is about 3 1/2" and a good size for the MINI. If you got 5 or 7" they will look huge but thats up to you.

Since I have the OEM driving lights and if that happened to me, personally, I would save my pennies and get the Hella FF200 Xenons ... Take them to a reputable shop (if your not DIY inclined because of the ballast and high voltage) and add the Xenons. The cheaper route is some PIAA 530 or 540 or Hella FF200s in Halagen. ALL good size for the MINI. Will throw out good light.

Good LUCK!

Thanks all. I will be checking out all the options. I just don't want to overload the wiring. I don't want to fry anything thats $$$$$$$.
