I am planning a trip this summer to drive the Nurburgring and want to outfit my Mini with an interior digital camera. Can anyone make a recommendation for a small camera? I know what hardware I will use for the mounting but I want to start researching digital camera options. Thanks!

I would heartily recommend you:

a. talk to as many people as you can about theirs and how they like them.
b. borrow one of them before buying so you can figure out if you can live with the features or not
c. read up and decide what features you really want, such as mpeg, sound, resolution, etc.
d. check the deals sites and hunt up a bargain
e. no shame in buying last year's models, they always cost less!
f. drive like you stole it on the Nurburgring. I'm 2 hours away

Thanks Don for the comments regarding interior driving cameras I hadn't thought about all the variable features that might be available so test driving one hadn't been a consideration...... I will do just that!
