2005 Rear Foglight to Brake Light or Backup Light or a both

I just reworked my splicing adapter to allow the rear foglight in the bumper to function as the backup light with two quick configuration changes. First the car must be pre-wired and you will need both light assemblies (backuplight and rear foglight). So if you got the rear foglights you need to pickup the 2004 backup light from the dealer or a vendor; they cost around $10.00. For those that want to make a change for a day or week you can install my new jumpers to the #1 wire of the taillight (backup wire) and the another jumper to the #4 wire (brake light wire) these jumpers have quick release bullet connectors on them. The rest of the splice is hooked up to the foglight wiring in the harness. To select the lighting configuration you want you just hookup the splice to #1 for backup light or #4 for brake light. If you use backup light you pop on the clear light or for brake light you pop in the red fog light. Both configurations will turn on the light when the rear foglamp switch is turned on. I am now running the backup light for the time being.
