Disabling modules for building racecar

Friends and I are in the beginning stages of building an R56S for Champcar endurance racing. One of the big tasks will be disabling the various modules that we will be removing when we strip the car for rollcage and rewiring. What is the best way to do this? Can we simply disable via NCSExpert or will be need something more involved?

I think NCS is the for sure the starting point. You need to remove the VO numbers associated with these modules, then update the CAS and FRM modules.
