Help needed - Radio doesn't turn On (Ncs Expert)

My radio doesn't turn on. I checked all the fuses and they're all ok.
Before that I tried using NCS expert to read a module and I might have programmed another (don't know which).
I have retrofitted the original bt-usb MULF few years ago and it worked fine.
Any ideas?

My 09 R55 had the same issue last week and it was a real ordeal to get it fixed.
This is a common issue for Mini radio's and it seems that they either die abruptly or the LCD display starts to lose pixels.
The fuse in the back of the CD player/head unit is a real tease and typically it never fails.
This is the course of action I took.
  1. Called the Cleveland Westside mini dealer and gave them my VIN number to see if they could provide the part number on my radio. Note that there are several different models (CD & Aux, CD W/USB, CD w/USB & Bluetooth). This dealer said that I had to purchase the radio from them and that a used replacement mini radio would not work because it would need programmed. The price would be $1,285.
  2. I then called Classic Mini on the East side and they said that it was a plug and play without any need to reprogram. I also called a mini dealer in Columbus and Pittsburg who both confirmed the plug and play.
  3. Called Classic back and they gave me the PN of the radio I needed and I purchased a used one off of Ebay for $100.
  4. After watching two video's on YouTube on the removal of the radio I collected a T20 and t30 torx and a plastic pry bar.
  5. When the radio arrived I pulled the old one out and found that the part numbers did not match so I ordered another one off of ebay (this time for $195) that had the correct Bluetooth and USB features.
  6. The second time was a whole lot faster (less than an hour) and I now have my tunes back
My thought is that "hey it was broke when I started on it" so I guess if I can fix it and keep $1,000 in my pocket...why not.

You really can do this if you just take your time and watch the videos.

Thanks
I already have done it many time, I even replaced it once (I think I take it off in like 20 mins)..
I just didn't know it is a common issue that the Boost CD Radio just die like this !
I wonder if I can replace it with 2010-2013 boost cd with Bluetooth builtin instead of the MULF that doesn't support A2DP?

The model number for the USB & Bluetooth is 65-123455263-01.

However I believe that there may be more to it than just the head unit (is the phone speaker actually up in the overhead counsel, do you have a USB port next to the Aux jack). If you like, I have an extra wiring harness that came with one of the units I bought. Pay the postage and it's yours...

Currently I don't need the harness but thanks for the offer (I have the full harness/usb/mic).
I'm looking on eBay for a spare boost cd.
The cheapest ones manufactured on 2007-08 up to 2010.
I wonder whether the 07/08 ones will die sooner than the 2010/2011?

FYI: the newer unit that I just installed came with the LCD display attached to the CD and after two hours of use the pixels are starting to flake out. When I get a chance I'll pull it and put in my old display. Point being, you really don't know what your getting off of ebay.
