Replacement clocks

I've found a set of used clocks from a JCW and was wondering if these would be a direct swap with my standard 1.5T clocks

I know on some cars they would have to be coded to the car but the JCW clocks have a higher top speed and higher revs - would these give false readings or do the reading come off the wheel sensors?

Thanks

Outmotoring

interesting question. There are vendors like outmotoring and others that sell new " printed gauge faces" so that you customize the look and color. Perhaps this will be an easier approach than having to recod or adapt used gauges from another.
you can also check Palo Alto Speedo and North Hollywood Speedo for custom screen prints and mods to yours. They both do outstanding work for custom and restoration.
Good luck and post some pics when you get going with the mods!
