Does anyone know if there is a way to have daytime running lamps activated without the headlights coming on. When I turn on DRL, the headlights are always on, along with the parking lights. Wondering if there is a way to make it only turn on the parking lights.

 

Carly for BMW app will do that - change DRLs to parking lights.

 

I'll check that out. If I have the fog/parking light combo, is there a drop in led halo light, or do I have to buy theverything whole wiring harness kit?

 

Carly looks nice! Wish it wasn't 60 bucks, but it seems worth it.

 

That's what I used.. the Carly app. It's not bad. User friendly and easy to use. I wanted to try that before hooking up my laptop and using NCS Expert.

 

I agree, a bit pricy for what it does. Perhaps someone in your area has it and will let you use it to code your car. Local MINI club?

 

With the Carly app, you also have the options of which of the tail lights to run with DRL, like inner light, outer light, or none. License plate light or none. Side fender lights or none. Right now I have just my front fogs for DRL's.
