I don't think you want to try to drill the stock switch panel to add a switch...
It is a PCB circuit board with traces...the switches are added to the surface...
And it uses a ribbon cable on the back...so adding a switch is hard...pretty easy to mess up the others...
My suggestion is..
Find a spot you like...like maybe under the steering wheel, by the knee bolter, near the fuse box, in a handy spot, then add it in a discrete location...like mentioned, by your knee...
