Wanting to put some LED lights under my car along the sides but dont know where to install the switch to turn it on and off from inside the car? 2005 Mini Cooper s

Alright but where do I find the chrome **** to back my dealer ship doesn't have those right now and I want go find them for cheaper? Any suggestions?

 

I don't think you want to try to drill the stock switch panel to add a switch...
It is a PCB circuit board with traces...the switches are added to the surface...
And it uses a ribbon cable on the back...so adding a switch is hard...pretty easy to mess up the others...
My suggestion is..
Find a spot you like...like maybe under the steering wheel, by the knee bolter, near the fuse box, in a handy spot, then add it in a discrete location...like mentioned, by your knee...
