Electrical 2007 Right Tail Light Problem
2007 Right Tail Light Problem
The top lamp in the right tail light assembly of my 2007 mini won't work. Have checked and replaced the lamp several times. Have removed the whole assembly and checked and polished contacts and verified continuity on the lamp holder through to the harness pins. Even the dealership said they fixed it but they didn't.
I have a 2006 (R53) wiring diagram that shows a 4-lamp tail light assembly, in which each lamp is driven from a pin of the 40-pin General Module Control Unit.
Is the wiring of the 2007 right tail light assembly the same as on the 2006 unit? Was wondering if there were any changes going from 1st gen to 2nd gen tail light wiring?
Is it likely that the output pin on the General Module Control Unit that drives the top lamp in the right tail light assembly has gone bad?
Anyone have a wiring diagram for the 2007 right tail light assembly? What else can I check?

Very similar. Each bulb has a separate wire going directly to the Footwell Module.
