Front wipers always run at full speed.

If i turn on my front wipers to normal speed, they always run at full speed. Changing to full speed gives no change. Pressing the handle down gives me one wipe at normal speed (as it should). Have replaced the relays, no change. In addition if i use my rear viper, it all goes out of sync. Front wipers goes on after turning them off, and stops at wong positions. The rear wiper does the same thing. Turning the car off and on usually solves that problem.

Any suggestions?

Check BCU

The Body Control Module behind panel behind the hood release could be causing that problem. If there is any moisture collected in or around it it can cause all kinds of gremlins. There are several other potential causes. If your car is equipped with a rain sensor on windshield it could have a defect or loose connection or it could be the switch on the steering column.
Good luck

Thank you, i will check for moisture, and/or maybe replace the switch on the steering column (have been suspecting this one). There is no rain-sensor.

Here is a breakdown of the functions and controls that are handled by the BCM/BCU. There is a comprehensive outline for the wiper functions in this PDF that might help you troubleshoot your issue if it still exists.
