Changing R53 Antenna

I want to install a shark fin antenna on my R53 MCS. It comes with a standard ISO aerial adapter. Is there an adapter that will convert the factory connector to ISO?

Just so you know, you'll probably suffer a loss in radio reception - shark fins are compromise antennas designed for multi-band use (radio, GPS, XM, etc.) and don't work that well for AM/FM radio.

In case you don't know about it, a Honda S2000 antennae is a direct replacement on the 1st gen cars, performs well on AM/FM, looks a little better than OEM. No paint issues either, of course.

Thanks for all the replies. I think I am going to do an antenna delete from the roof, as I am going to cover the roof in carbon vinyl and then mount a hidden antenna or glass mounted antenna inside the car.
Does anybody have experience with this type of antenna, is there a loss in reception?

cant be worse than just not having an antenna, like me.

btw, when you "delete" your antenna, there will be a big HOLE in the roof, at least the size of a quarter... so, youll have to put something there...

I plan on just filling the hold with some sort of grommet and then putting the vinyl on top.
