Ok, so my horn suddenly died (fuse was fine) couple weeks ago and felt it was perfect timing to upgrade my horn to dual trumpet horn. Got the horn today and installed carefully following the instruction (disconnect battery, wiretap hot & ground…). Connected battery and started engine gave it a shot and IT WORKED!!

But after couple more honks… SILENT…. Checked all the wiring, fuse… looked fine.. and now I am stuck with dead horn again..

What am I doing wrong??

thanks chris! If switch problem, would the new trumpet horn worked for couple time before it went dead??

 

Horn relay? I can't explain how the new horn worked a few times though =\\

 

That is what I suspected at first..
but since the new horn worked couple times, I ruled out that its the relay problem.

so today I disconnect the wiretap and reconnected, horn worked for couple times and went dead.. very wired...
I guess I'll have to visit the shop..
