Better Halagons ??

My 05 "S" has xenons, and they're great !! But-my 2011 "S" doesn't. So-- without going to a HID\xenon "kit", what's the best halagen bulbs to use ?? Can I use 55 watt bulbs as long as I have the upgrade harness ?? How about 100 watt bulbs ?? Too much heat ?? It seems that 98% of people have problems with their xenon\hid kits, so I'll pass on that !!

Silverstars or other reputable 55/65w halogens can be swapped. 55/65w is the normal stock wattage and legal. 100w would need a wire harness and could melt parts...I would pass. The aftermarket bulbs can be slightly costly and have less of a lifespan than the stock ones, but most who have them love them.

There is an OEM retrofit kit available. This is mentioned in a bunch of threads. This will eliminate the hassle of changing to them.

I am sure it is not cheap but would give you xenon's

Other than that exactly what yetti96 said.
