LED Parking Lights Throwing Error, Any idea of what OHM/Watts resistor needed?

I just installed some parking lights today and I am receiving a CC-ID 131/132 Error which is for the left/right parking light.

I tried doing a 1/2 Watt 220 OHM resistor I had sitting around and the warning light still came up.

Anyone fixed this before with a proper resistor? It is kinda annoying to have the Light Code pop up.

Thanks :D

I used a higher wattage bulb and have not had any problems. I have replaced
every bulb except the front ones, but it was expensive. www.v-leds.com
is where I got them. If you get several you can ask for a discount also if you join their facebook page likewise.

That is actually where I bought my 194 bulbs. Which did you purchase? I have the 9 led ones I think. On my phone at work at the moment so no idea which they are.

Several threads about this and consensus seems to be don't use LEDs in most of the exterior W5W bulb spots. Would be nice to figure out as I like the instant on flash for turn signals.

I haven't had to use these on my MCS yet because I am currently only using LEDs for my interior lights and rear fog light / brake light conversion (LEDs in fog position only) I did have an issue on my '36 Chevy Coupe since all the interior & exterior lights on the car (except headlights) are LED. To get my turn signal to work I installed these load resistors to make the turn signals flash properly.

Work great and they are cheap.

I am going to sit down most likely later and attempt to find out what resistor is needed. There is a guy in the countryman forum that has done it but doesn't state what resistor size.

You could always use NCS Expert to turn off the bulb check. then you would not need the resistors
