head Light..

Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram of the light circuit w/o or w/auto illuminating head lights?

I am looking to see if the head lights switch is just a low voltage input to the ECU or if it is a actual 12v switch.

It is highly unlikely that the full power of the battery runs through the headlight switch; virtually everything electrical in the MINI is controlled by the ECU (aka BCM I think its called.)

Yeah this is what I suspect... What I am trying to do is to put auto illuminate lights on my mini. The electronics behind this is very simple, but I need to know what I am dealing with on the car.

And I know... Everyone's answer would be "buy the factory components." I just don't think it is necessary to spend hundreds of dollars on something I can make.

Right now I am just lacking a schematic on how the light system works. If I can find that.. I will be looking good!
