R57 Auto Climate Control Upgrade

My 2009 R57 has the basic Climate Control, i was wondering, if i got my hands on a salvaged Automatic Climate Control unit, is it just a simple panel switchout, or is there more to it?

There is more to it than just a switch set replacement.

There is a thread here somewhere that goes over all the changes needed. Someone has done it. Search for it and you should find it.

There are different sensors and wiring. There is the solar sensor on top of the dash, a footwell sensor and even different blower motor controls (resistors). Probably too much to even consider the swap/upgrade.
