OEM Driving light wiring question

Does anyone know when it say "connect" what that means? Do I need to tap into the wires mentioned? Thanks!

Looks like I figured it out. You need to disassemble the x14260 connector and insert it into where PIN 4 would be (it's empty) and reassemble it. Love these vague instructions!
