Hi I’m in need of help, I have recently converted my Mini Cooper 2001 in to a Mini Cooper S. I have done this as a university project and it was going great until it came to the wiring. All of the plugs on the engine are fine as I have the engine wiring loom for the mini cooper s and my old loom for the cooper is still on the car. In addition I also have the ECU, EWS box and KEY to match, however as the new engine came out of a 2004 MCS the main engine wiring harness seems to be different (this is the plug located on the passenger side of the car) My cooper harness has 8 wires and the new cooper s engine has 10 and the plug is a different size.

I was wondering if anyone has had this problem. Wiring is not a problem for me however I can not obtain the sufficient wiring diagrams needed to perform the wiring needed. I am in need of the diagram for the cooper 2001 and the diagram for the cooper s 2004 does anyone have any of these?

I Live in the United Kingdom and can not seem to get any help from my main dealerships here; they say they can not release such diagrams so I’m in need of help!
