Hey is there any possibility that a headlight lens xenon for an 02 mcs can be replace without buying the whole assembly?

 

Does anyone know if a pair of 05 lights will fit in my 02? a member brought some to my attention in the bay area, but they are an 05 model xenon and i have 02 xenons?

 

The lenses SHOULD all be the same...so if you get a defective assy or something...take out the old lense and put the new one in (Just like a Joey mod)

 

so its not defective, i was doing the joey mod and dropped some goo-gone inside the lens and it fogged out the whole center section. I tried a couple things to fix it (yellowing stuff at checker) and it didnt work. so now im stuck buing a whole new light assembly for just the lens. or there is an add up in the bay area for 3 05 xenon lights for way more than i want to spend. I just dont know if they will fit the same as the old style MCS xenons?

 

wet sand it.. happened to me..

 

What grit?? i tried that and it just seemed to make it worse???
