help with my fogs

so i was fixing my bumper the other day and while it was off i decided to see if my fog lights were even wired up, (cuz i have fog lights but no switch) so it looks like the bulbs are in there but no wires attached to them...so im guessing the person who had my mini b4 me added the fog lights on but never got around to wiring them up, so is there a diy on how i can wire up my fogs or is there a way i can just rig it up so they turn on with my normal light when i switch them on???

thanks
Fred-

If the lamps are not connected to anything and you have no toggle switch, it does sound like only the lights were installed (probably for looks) and it was never wired up. You would need at least the wiring harness, a toggle panel, and have a dealer update software. I have done the retrofit installation and it is fairly involved. Instructions are here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...t_Retrofit.pdf

RKW is right.

It took a little time, money, and effort, and a trip to East Bay MINI to have them activated but in the end I am very happy of how the project turned out. The instructions are pretty good, leave yourself plenty of time to be careful.

Buy a Hella wiring kit and follow their instructions. Not as hard as it looks. Switch, wires, fuse, relay, lights work and be happy!
