changing temperature/speed reading

hello all, i have a 06 cooper with no auto climate control, just regular ac unit. i want to change the temperature reading from Fahrenheit to Celsius. i searched around and the trick seems to only work if you have auto climate control. for the digital speed reading, is it possible to change from mph to kph?

thx

AFAIK, you'll have to have the dealer program your Cooper for C* and km/h. There is no quick trick to get the temp reading to switch from F*/C* with the regular A/C unit...

I've got auto climate control on my '04 MCS and holding down the "AUTO" button only changes the temperature readings, and not the digital speed reading. Bummer too - it would be nice to switch digital speed output in km/h for the times I'm driving in Canada.
