That's what I'm thinking too. I'll have to run to the store and see what I can find. If not I'll buy a set of bonnet ones and bend the top flat to mount down there. See what I can find at the store first.

On the wiring end - ever get that sorted? If you're running a 15a fuse it seems you're running the powre for the lights straight through the switch, not througha relay - not a great way to go with all that amperage through the switch, inside the car.

Consider wiring a relay so the power runs from the fuse box through the relay to the light, and the switch only switches the relay...

DixonL2 is right on with his comment. That supplied 1 amp fuse is for the relay connection. The relay is what needs to handle all the amps. If you are running 15 amps through your switch, it had better be rated for 25 amps to be safe. You should be using some pretty heavy wire as well that is also rated for at least 20 amps. You might find that your lights can actually be brighter if you wire them correctly with proper relays and wire guages.
