I have a 2005 Cooper S, which I have bought in the USA, but I am living in Denmark, so I want to change to km/h instead of miles in odometer and the driving computer, which checks average fuels, average speeds and so on. Is it possible and if yes , how can I do it. Is it a sofware update or is it a hardware change, which will do the job. Hope anyone knows how to.

I know that in the past I switched the temp display on my automatic A/C (though I can't seem to get it to work in my current '06 MCSC), but I don't think it changed the OBC or the odometer.

 

I have visit a BMW dealer today and he changed my Cooper S so it shows Km/h instead of MPH. He did it with his computer and it only took 5 min. Now I only have 1 problem left and it is a faultcode P1498 which his computer said it was a leak after compressor, but where??? The eml light comes only when I am driving smothly and slowly.
