Hi all!
I have just completed work on my 4th Mini, I wanted to beat the winter cold.
It is Red/Orange, and was built in 1968 by the British Motor Corporation. As built at the factory, it sports a 1622cc MGA motor breathing thru a single barrel downdraft carb and governed to 2750 RPM's which produce 25 hp. The manual transmission is a 3 speed with 3 ranges, L M H, giving me 9 forward and 3 reverse speeds. Maximum speed is around 15 mph but low is a real stump puller! There are bias ply tires on each corner, 16' up front and 24' on the rear.
Yes, the newest is a tractor. It is a Mini. A B.M.C 4/25 Mini.
I have had this since 2007 and with the acquisition of a 2nd one this summer, I was able to complete the restoration. I am afraid I will not be able to take it on any car drives, but if you want to go off road and thru the fields and woods...I am there.
