What brand and size are on the yellow mini on the Eastern Iowa Mini home page banner, that car looks good. The pic shot is the rear side of the car.

That picture was taken in May 2009 out in the Black Hills of South Dakota, during our club's participation in the inaugural High Plains Motoring Society event, which has occurred annually since then.

I think the owner might have been from the MINI5280 club. I'll contact a couple of folks that I know from their group to see if they can shed any additional light on the subject.

 

Wow, don't know the MINI or the wheels, bummer. Is that a Colorado plate? Anyone with younger eyes or another shot.

Those kind of look like Missouri plates but my eyes are not young either.

 

IowaWRX thought they looked like MO plates too, but has no knowledge of this MINI's affiliation with KCME. Still waiting to hear back from zinful to see if there's a St. Louis connection. The mystery lives on...
