Greetings from Iowa City. We recently sold our 2000 Corvette convertible and within 5 days we were driving our 2007 chill red/white top S home from the Naperville Mini dealership. Our mini S is manual 6 speed, leather, auto temp control, dual sun roofs, cold weather package with new Continental, yes dang it--runflats.
I retired from Rockwell in 1995 as Plant Manager of the Coralville facility and have had a strong interest in cars my whole life. I've built a street rod, refurbished a couple of 65 Mustangs and owned 2 Corvettes. Unfortunately we've only driven our mini a few times as we took off to visit our Daughter in Alabama a few days after we bought it and won't return home for another week or so.
We are/were active members of the CR Corvette Club and have a interest in participating in a couple of Mini events with members of EIM group. Until we can meet in person, have a great week and best regards to all. Ron Schleder
