Hello EIM! After having been interested in MINI ownership for a few years and lurking on NAM, I finally took the plunge on a lovely 2010 Midnight Black MCS in June.
I've lived in Ames for the past dozen years or so, but have lived in Iowa City and the Quad Cities at times, and frequent those areas regularly. Having a blast with the car so far (including a fabulous drive to/from Okoboji this weekend!)

Congrats on the new MINI. Nothing quite like the deep shine of Midnight Black.

I want to give a warm EIM shout-out and welcome to MININicole -- hailing from the CR-IC corridor and the proud new owner of a nice '02 CR/W MC.

Hello all! My name is David and I will be joining the faculty of the University of Iowa in October, relocating from Stanford University in California. I have a 2010 MINI Cooper named Mho who really likes to go on runs and attend track days. I've been an active member of the Redwood Empire Mini Enthusiasts and look forward to being a member of Eastern Iowa MINIs and meeting all of you.

Thought I would say hello here too. Besides, I purchased my car from MINI of Des Moine (Willis) and you will probably see me motoring through the area from time to time.
