I've been waiting to purchase a Mini EV until they came with a longer driving range. It's looks like the Countryman would be the answer. However, the website right now only shows 4 (very vanilla) colors. Black, grey, white, and a smokey green. The green is nice enough, but still pretty subdued. For context, my 2003 Cooper is Velvet Red/white and my 2015 Cooper Coupe is BRG/Silver, so I lean towards the bolder colors. Has anyone heard if they plan to roll out more colors with an eye to more interesting choices?

 

I've heard a blue is coming in a year or so.

 

MINI's vibrant color palette over the years has been a strong point, so it's odd that they only show 4 available, and not terribly inspiring, colors on the electric countryman. Odder still that the gasser version has BRG, Chili red and blazing blue options. I'll go BRG with a brown interior ... when I win the lottery.
